Chlorination
It is important that not only the new water system and networks are tested to be safe. As the infrastructure will be an everyday utility designated for water supply, chlorination must be done to guarantee safe waters.
The procedures to be undertaken by our specialists are in accordance with health protocols and government-regulated safety standards.
Things You Need to Know
We have compiled some of the frequently asked questions given to us when conducting pipework chlorination:
How is the procedure for Chlorination executed?
Our professionals will begin the chlorination process by initially flushing the installed system with clean water, to make sure that there are no left debris and sediments from the prior installation. When clean, the infrastructure will be filled with a chlorine solution which will be left at a certain period designated by regulating standards. Upon completion, the chlorinated solution will be disposed, and the system will be once again flushed by clean water until all traces of the chemical are gone.
When should a Chlorination be performed?
The process for the system must be undergone whenever a water infrastructure is newly installed. However, it must be also executed when a contamination for the water supply is suspected or detected, especially when the water system has been stagnant for an extended period of time.
Chlorination Tests
Our company can be contracted to test for the following:
Water turbidity
Chlorine residuals
Water clarity
Coliform presence
E. coli detection
Viable colony/aerobic bacteria presence
Upon completion of chlorination and accomplishment of assessment, our specialists will issue necessary certifications and/or recommendations for further testing as needed.
